Matt 28:19-20 "Therefore
go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I
have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the
age." (NIV)
It is God's desire for us to
bring souls into the Kingdom and to be discipled into Jesus' likeness. In our
Discipleship Groups, we will learn more about Christ, be shaped into His
character and bear the fruit that will reflect His love. We will be able to
develop a closer walk with God that will lead to changed lives.
In Discipleship Groups, we will
also be joined with other believers to form a cell group. Spiritual growth is
important to a believer who is connected both to God and His family. As we all
grow together in Jesus, we develop into a family that will have authentic
relationships and support for one another.
In Discipleship Groups, we will
be able to discover our gifts and talents that we can use to serve God and
others. As the Holy Spirit transforms our lives, we will then have the capacity
and willingness to serve others. Also, we will be able to discover our purpose
in His Kingdom.
